Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.  (Matthew 28:9-20, John 1:11-12)

As members of Northside Baptist Church, we commit ourselves:

To walk together in Christian love by the power of the Holy Spirit. (John 13:34-35)
To work for the advancement of this Church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and its spirituality; to sustain its worship ordinances, discipline, and doctrines. (Philippians 1:27)

To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the Church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.  (I Corinthians 16:2, II Corinthians 8:6-7)

To maintain family and private devotions: to biblically educate our children; to seek the salvation of anyone with whom we may come in contact. (Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Proverbs 11:30, Acts 1:8, II Timothy 3:15)

To walk above reproach in the world; to be fair in our dealings, faithful in our commitments, to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and undisciplined anger; to abstain from anything that may cause our brother or sister in Christ to sin, to be zealous in our efforts to spread the good news of our Savior's love. (Ephesians 5:15, 18, Philippians 2:14-15, Hebrews 2:15, I Peter 2:11-12, I Peter 2:21)

To watch over one another in brotherly love, remember one another in prayer, and help one another in sickness and distress. We will cultivate Christian courtesy in speech, and always be ready for reconciliation—being mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay. (Ephesians 4:30, James 2: 14-17, 1 Peter 1:22, 1 Peter 3:8)

Lastly, we commit that when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with another church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word. (Hebrews 10:23-25)
